GeoParquetΒΆ
This section describes the GeoParquet community module, which adds support for reading GeoParquet files as data stores in GeoServer.
GeoParquet is an open standard for encoding geospatial data in Apache Parquet, a columnar storage format designed for efficient data processing and analytics. GeoParquet brings the performance benefits of columnar storage to geospatial data, making it particularly well-suited for cloud-native applications and large datasets.
